Dogging is a pastime of mainly British persuasion, which can be defined as being naked and/or having sex with someone outdoors, be it in a park, cap park, forest etc. The name came about in the 1970s, when men would 'dog' couples having sex in the open - following them so they would see everything they did. Swingers eventually found out that sex in public places was a thrill, too, and they began to gather in these places (mostly car parks) and these 'doggers' found a new source of excitement. Furthermore, they discovered that the couples wanted the doggers to watch, and were performing sexual acts for them, and sometimes even wanted them to join them in their sexual liaison.
